GEOGRAPHY

When travelling the Great Alpine Road there is much variety in the scenery. Here is one example where the 2007 Bushfires crossed the road near Tambo Crossing. Much of the route has views of the Tambo River on its way to the sea. This road is our only access south and we tend to take for granted the natural beauty.(Bushfire damage excluded)

Return to blog

There has been a delay in my blogging attempts as I have had other priorities. Life on the farm continues to be busy. I was able to help with the shearing in early August. My jobs usually include droving sheep, drafting sheep and feeding the shearing team. This year I did some droving and some feeding of shearers. The team works very hard and do an excellent job shearing our sheep and classing and preparing our wool for sale. The wool is presently being tested and catalogued for the wool sale. The wool sale is when we find out the financial rewards for a year of hard work. I hope I have pleasing results to report at a later date.
